Position Scope
 
The Operations Manager – Live Casino will be instrumental in shaping the operational strategy and execution in Bulgaria. This leadership role encompasses overseeing studio setup, optimizing daily operations, managing resources efficiently, and fostering a high-performing team culture. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless alignment with global standards while adhering to local Bulgarian requirements.
 
The role is entirely on-site in our Sofia office.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Operational Management

  • Collaborate with senior management to define and execute operational strategies specific to Bulgaria.
  • Lead the setup and operational management, ensuring project milestones and objectives are met within agreed timelines.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with Bulgarian regulations and company standards.
  • Oversee daily studio operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with global processes.

Team Development & HR Collaboration

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, driving recruitment, retention, and professional growth.
  • Partner with HR to adapt talent acquisition strategies suited to Bulgarian market conditions.
  • Cultivate a strong company culture, promoting performance excellence and employee well-being.
  • Establish the Bulgarian studio as a preferred workplace within the region.

Resource Allocation & Performance Optimization

  • Manage resource allocation, ensuring optimal staffing, training, and equipment utilization.
  • Identify efficiency improvements, streamlining workflows to enhance operational productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, leveraging data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Bulgarian legal standards and regulatory requirements.

Risk & Compliance Management

  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, developing crisis management and business continuity strategies.
  • Manage legal documentation, ensuring full adherence to Bulgarian laws and industry standards.
  • Propose competitive employee compensation and benefit packages, aligned with local market expectations.

Facilities & Supplier Management

  • Oversee facilities and logistics, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, optimizing procurement and cost management.

Financial & Budget Oversight

  • Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are advantageous
  • Proven leadership experience in operations management, preferably in iGaming or related sectors.
  • Expertise in studio setup, process optimization, and compliance with Bulgarian laws.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Bulgarian.
  • Effective negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic problem-solving mindset, with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Ability to adapt to high-pressure environments and dynamic operational challenges.
