Role description:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist plays a key role in transforming data into insights that drive business value. This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely reporting, developing dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making across operational units. The BI Specialist works closely with multiple departments to ensure reporting needs are met and continuously seeks opportunities to improve data models, automate processes, and develop analytical tools.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the reporting and analytics needs of the business operations units.
  • Lead initiatives related to data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
  • Use company data sources to generate accurate and meaningful reports and dashboards.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reports in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Design and implement data collection models to enhance reporting and support predictive analytics.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to align on deliverables and agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop and introduce new data profiling and scoring models tailored to business needs.
  • Build customized dashboards and reporting matrices to support decision-making.
  • Analyze operational data trends and identify areas for performance improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of real-time alert systems to monitor key business metrics.
  • Fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests from senior management and other stakeholders.
 
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and data handling (SQL, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Business acumen and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
