Job Purpose
The Surveillance Team Leader oversees the day-to-day operations of the Surveillance team, ensuring smooth collaboration, effective monitoring, and timely incident resolution. This role acts as a vital communication link between Surveillance Operators, Game Integrity, and Risk and Fraud Management, promoting best practices and procedural compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong technical acumen, proven leadership experience in the gaming industry, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and verify reported incidents from the studio, escalating as needed and supporting evaluations or disciplinary actions.
- Oversee testing and performance validation of surveillance systems, collaborating with QA and development teams.
- Monitor online and physical environments to detect suspicious or non-compliant activities.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports for incident tracking, performance evaluation, and operational transparency.
- Coordinate fair task distribution, handle live escalations, and support decision-making during critical cases.
- Mentor and train Surveillance Operators to ensure professional growth and alignment with company standards.
- Contribute to monthly bonus reviews and performance evaluations by verifying task completion and sanction justifications.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in Surveillance or Risk/Fraud roles within the iGaming industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position.
- In-depth technical knowledge of surveillance systems, video monitoring consoles, and fraud detection.
- Proven analytical skills, particularly in identifying irregularities in online gaming or roulette wheels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel, Teams, Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with experience in creating structured reports.
- Flexibility to work in shifts (including weekends and holidays) across a 24/7 schedule.
- University degree in a relevant field.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with advanced surveillance software tools.
- Experience using data analysis platforms such as Tableau or SQL.
- Understanding of bonus structures and performance KPIs.
- Fluency in a second language for broader communication across regions.
- Strong presentation, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
