The Role:
The successful candidate needs to have an eye for detail and will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a wide range of real estate amongst the group. This role requires strong expertise in property law, excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts related to real estate: purchase agreements, lease agreements, financing agreements, development agreements, construction contracts.
- Assist in undertaking due diligence on property acquisitions.
- Advise on legal risks and liabilities in real estate transactions.
- Manage closings of real estate and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide strategic legal advice to the business, stakeholders and management.
- Liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies.
- Stay up to date with changes in real estate and property law in various territories and provide proactive guidance.
- Collaborate with relevant operational stakeholders to ensure that the relevant property meets the needs of the business.
Key Skills:
- Law degree and admission to practice law in EU / Gibraltar / UAE
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience practicing real estate law.
- Proven experience handling a broad range of real estate matters.
- Strong understanding of local, regional, and national property laws.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage complex transactions and deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
