Junior Lighting Specialist

1. Assist in the setup, installation, and rigging of lighting equipment, including fixtures, cabling, and power distribution systems.
2. Operate and rig lighting equipment under the supervision of a senior technician.
3. Ensure all lighting equipment is functioning properly and safely, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
4. Collaborate with other technical departments, such as audio/video, to ensure seamless integration of all production elements.
5. Maintain accurate records of equipment use, maintenance, and repairs.
6. Assist with the design of lighting plans and ensure they align with the overall aesthetic of the production.

1. Ability to read basic light plots and design renders as provided by the Head of Lighting or Design Team.
2. Strong knowledge of various light sources and their proper usage (e.g., Fresnel, convex plans, profiles).
3. Basic understanding of signal patching and lighting control systems.
4. Physical ability to work on ladders, in confined spaces, and lift/move heavy equipment.
5. Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
7. Intermediate English language skills.

1. Previous experience in the field.
2. Willingness to travel abroad.
