The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized International Technical Procurement Manager to oversee the end-to-end procurement process for broadcast and technical equipment across multiple countries on different continents.
This role requires coordination with local and international vendors, logistics partners, technical teams, and customs authorities to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of equipment for existing and new international studio setups.
What Will You Be Doing:
- Lead procurement of broadcast, AV, and technical equipment for international broadcast studio setups.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage purchase orders for technical equipment.
- Collaborate with technical specialists to understand equipment specifications and ensure accuracy in procurement.
- Liaise with customs brokers and regulatory bodies in each country to ensure compliance with import/export laws and duties.
- Track and manage shipping, logistics, and delivery schedules across multiple regions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures for targeted countries.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, production, legal, finance) to align procurement with project timelines and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to cross-border logistics and regulatory delays.
- Manage procurement documentation and ensure proper record-keeping for audits and compliance.
What Makes You a Strong Candidate:
- Proven experience in international procurement, ideally for technical or broadcast/media equipment.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations, import/export processes, and international logistics.
- Experience working across multiple countries and time zones.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Effective communicator with the ability to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Detailed orientated, with a drive to deliver.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems is a plus.
