Role Purpose:

The Team Leader for the Appearance Department will oversee daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards. This role involves coordinating team activities, managing schedules, maintaining quality control, and managing stock. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Experience in stock management, procurement, and proficiency in stock and warehouse software is essential.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Stock Control and Procedure Compliance:
  • Oversees stock management, ensuring that inventory is accurately controlled and that all processes adhere strictly to established procedures.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
  • Manages and reports on the daily activities of the team, including monitoring attendance, scheduling, and holiday planning, while ensuring smooth operations.
  • Disciplinary and Training Management
  • Handles documentation related to disciplinary actions and reports
  • Procedure Evaluation and Development:
  • Regularly evaluates compliance with existing procedures, drafts new procedures for approval, and proposes improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Also ensures that all procedures remain up-to-date.
    Workshop and Event Coordination:
  • Organizes and participates in Appearance workshops and contributes to the planning and execution of special events.
  •  Inventory Replenishment and Analysis:
  • Ensures timely re-stocking and efficient inventory management. Analyzes stock movements to identify trends, patterns, and potential red flags, supporting proactive decision-making.
  • Conducts research and testing projects aimed at improving the consistency of dealers’ on-camera appearance, ensuring a high-quality visual presentation.
  • Periodically compiles and presents comprehensive reports on team activities, stock movements, and purchases, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Continuously maintain and improve all documents related to standardization requirements, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices.
    Customer Experience Optimization:
  • Proactively enhance the customer experience process with GPs, streamlining interactions and consistently elevating service quality.
  • Identifies innovative approaches to enhance both the quality and productivity of team members’ work, and coordinates new projects to drive operational excellence.
  • Adherence to Company Standards
  • Read, understand, and comply with the company’s standards. Utilize company technology appropriately and effectively. Notify management immediately in the event of any misconduct or misbehavior.
    Work Discipline and Professional Responsibility
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement. Maintain the confidentiality of all information related to company equipment and operations.
  • Use company resources exclusively for business purposes. Comply with all legislative requirements and established working procedures. Collaborate with designated health and safety personnel as needed to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses.
  • Promptly inform line managers of any deficiencies or incidents observed.
Candidate Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Experience in stock management and procurement or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using stock management and warehouse software.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management.

    To be considered a plus:

  • Experience with Makeup and Hairdressing for Broadcast: Familiarity with makeup and hairstyling techniques specifically for on-camera or broadcast settings.
  • Knowledge of Skincare Products: Understanding of skincare products and techniques that can enhance the overall appearance and comfort of individuals during their shifts.
  • Proven previous experience in managing a team
