3D Electrical Design Engineer

The 3D Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of electrical systems within 3D models. This role requires a combination of electrical engineering expertise and advanced proficiency in 3D modeling software. The designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that electrical designs meet all project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.

 

  – Create detailed 3D models of electrical systems and components using CAD software.

  – Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.

  – Conduct simulations and analyses to validate the performance and safety of electrical designs.

  – Optimize designs for efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

  – Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for electrical designs.

  – Maintain accurate records of design iterations and modifications.

  – Work with mechanical engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.

  – Provide technical support during the manufacturing and installation phases.

  – Assist in the development and testing of prototypes to validate design concepts.

  – Make necessary adjustments based on prototype feedback and testing results.

  – Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

  – Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.

  – Continuously improve design processes and outcomes.

 

 

  – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

  – Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on 3D modeling and design.

  – Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).

  – Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and circuit design.

  – Experience with simulation tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB, or similar.

  – Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).

  – Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  – Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  – Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

  – Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications are a plus.
