Job Overview:
We are looking to bolster our ecosystem team that focuses on all interactions players enjoy outside our games and the parts that connect to our ecosystem inside of games. It’s our job to make sure that every part of the player’s journey with us is simple, intuitive, and most importantly, fun. That means living and breathing our products, obsessing over real user data and metrics, and working with key stakeholders across the business to make recommendations that will delight players while meeting commercial objectives. Since everything we do is enjoyed by millions of players worldwide every single day, it’s important that we get these insights right.

If you’re able to bring thoughtful, data-driven reasoning, obsessive insights, and coordination execution to a highly driven, fast-moving, and talented team, you’ll fit right in.

Reporting to the Promotions & Marketing Director and working closely with lobby specialists, promotion teams, product owners, commercial specialists, designers, business analysts, and development teams, this is a hands-on role that can be on the ground with the team in Gibraltar, Malta, Isle of Man, or remote.

What You Will be Doing

Tracking Strategy & Data Governance:

  • Define daily KPIs and maintain a clear data dictionary that will be used to determine insights and chart success.
  • Work with Lobby Specialist to set detailed tracking metrics, tagging structures, dimensions, parameters, and report frameworks.
  • Work with Product and Development teams to ensure tracking requirements are correctly implemented.
  • Remain vigilant regarding our data quality. Does the data line up with our expectations? Scrutinize the information, investigate, and escalate any issues to ensure that we are quick to respond.
  • Expand our tracking capabilities so that you and the business can make better informed decisions regarding the lobby and broader ecosystem.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze activity data, focusing on acquisition metrics (how many players are managing to attract to the lobby), retention metrics (how good of a job are doing of getting repeat lobby visitors and users), and behavioral metrics.
  • Identify and track key user flows and funnels in the lobby. Liaise with Business Intelligence and Development to put necessary measurement tools into place.
  • Document your analysis methodologies for the broader team.
  • Review algorithmic outputs to ensure the recommendations are sensible and align with expected player behaviours.
  • Help curate game titles in the lobby, so that (a) new releases are getting the real estate and exposure they deserve, (b) popular titles are easily discovered and played, (c) recommendation algorithms fit well with manual curation, and (d) the organisational structure of the lobby lends itself well to a strong discovery experience.

Strategic Insight & Stakeholder Support

  • Identify trends and insights in the data to make recommendations to (a) Commercial teams for features they should be pushing, (b) Promotion and Marketing teams for manual curation matters, and (c) Product teams to review, consider, and include in the product roadmap.
  • Help Product define and measure what success looks like for specific features and perform pre- and postlaunch analyses.
  • Provide timely data and insights to Commercial teams to help them focus their efforts and effectively position our products and upcoming features in client conversations.
  • Present clear, actionable insights to various audiences in the most effective format.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Education, Qualifications, and Background

  • You must have experience working with BI & data science teams to define and pull operational data necessary for you to conduct your responsibilities.
  • You must have experience analysing acquisition, retention, and user experience data in a complex, large-scale product portfolio, ideally with experience in iGaming.
  • You should ideally have a well-rounded background in business intelligence/data science mixed with a commercial mindset. Understanding how to connect the two is vital to this role.

Key Experience Areas

  • You will have worked with reporting suites like Tableau (or similar) and understand how you can build out dashboard and reports.
  • You are familiar with the setup, management, and reporting of digital analytic tools, such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, Snowplow, or similar

What We Need From You:

  • Be exceptionally well-organized. There are going to be a lot of moving parts to this role so you must bring method and structure to your approach.

  • Be obsessed with details and optimisations. Creating amazing player experiences means scrutinising every detail to ensure that you’re constantly delivering the best possible solution. In a such a highly competitive industry, small details can make a big difference.

  • Be open and flexible. There are many ways to interpret datasets and different approaches you can take for an optimal outcome. You need to be ready to adjust your views on the fly, all in service of an outstanding player experience.
  • Be an expert communicator both visually and verbally. Your insights should nearly speak for themselves; however, you still need to be able to walk different audiences through them in detail. For example, explaining them to stakeholders versus relaying the details of what you’d like built to development.
  • Exude transparency, openness, and objectivity. We’re all here to build great things and need to collaborate effectively.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work to very tight deadlines. We work to visualize things quickly and make decisions to push the business forward.
