Job Overview:
The Fashion Designer supports the development and production of stylish, functional uniforms for live casino studios. Working closely with Senior and Lead Designers, this role contributes to the creative process, assists in technical documentation, coordinates fittings, sources materials, and ensures quality standards are met. The position also involves hands-on tasks like sewing prototypes, maintaining design assets, and collaborating across departments to bring uniform concepts to life in line with brand and operational requirements.
What You Will be Doing:
- Maintain a tidy workspace and organized storage.
- Follow working hours and attend health & safety procedures.
- Take and follow instructions from superiors.
- Care for company equipment and use machines (sewing, cutting, ironing) safely.
- Execute tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Assist Senior and Lead Designers, and support Head of Studio Design.
- Contribute design ideas under supervision.
- Help create and develop modern, brand-aligned uniforms for live studio teams.
- Update design assets (sketches, mood boards, mock-ups).
- Collaborate with departments to meet functional and visual needs.
- Help source fabrics and materials with a focus on comfort and durability.
- Support fittings and gather user feedback.
- Maintain technical packs and assist in production handovers.
- Stay updated on fashion and entertainment trends for inspiration.
- Assist in uniform fittings for photo/video shoots.
- Support creation of technical documents (sketches, size charts, specs).
- Supervise prototype production and update stakeholders on ETAs.
- Collect employee feedback and suggest improvements.
- Inspect uniforms (design, seams, fabrics) and ensure quality standards.
- Handle uniform samples and deliveries to suppliers.
- Perform studio tests (with manager approval) and review appearance on stream.
- Create edits and mock-ups for designs.
- Sew and adjust prototypes by hand or machine as needed.
- Be available for occasional night shifts for testing purposes.
- Knows how to use sewing machines, ironing and cutting devices
- Ability to modify in place urgent prototypes, products to meet the critical deadlines
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Knows to use Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat
- Basic understanding of garment construction and pattern making
- Strong eye for detail, color and practical aesthetics
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
