- Initially this position will be the sole HR role in Brazil but eventually this role will be responsible for building and leading a team in the day-to-day HR operational activities for the company, ensuring compliance with local labor regulations and industry best practices.
- Ensure smooth processes, effective and efficient communication with Operations and other departments.
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance evaluations, promotions, transfers, and offboarding;
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with our company’s goals and value;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
- Help guide and set up payroll processes working with internal teams / external providers.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Handle complex employee relations issues and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide reports to management, identifying trends and recommending improvements
- Provide on request compensation analysis on various employees groups and build relevant business cases
- Manage the HR information system, ensuring all the data are updated and accurate
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
