Role Overview:
As a Security Officer at ARRISE, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our facilities. You will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with access controls, overseeing vehicle traffic, and maintaining a secure environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be key in safeguarding our operations and assisting employees and visitors.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Access Control Monitoring: Monitor employee compliance with access controls and identify individuals by facial recognition and other identifying features.
- Traffic Management: Oversee inbound and outbound vehicle traffic according to internal regulations.
- Facility Surveillance: Monitor the outside perimeter and interior environment for any unusual situations that could threaten security or safety.
- Customer Service: Assist and courteously serve employees and visitors by actively resolving problems.
- Emergency Response: Act according to established evacuation, fire, or other emergency instructions during an emergency.
- Bag Checks: Inspect bags and carry-on luggage of employees and visitors to ensure no unauthorized items are brought into or out of the building.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Security.
What Makes You a Strong Candidate:
- Coordination and Dexterity: Excellent coordination and dexterity.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, self-discipline, and energy.
- Shift Work: Ability to work shifts.
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is considered an asset.
- Security Experience: Proven experience in the use and management of security systems.
