The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Technical Architect to lead the creation, management, and coordination of Building Information Modelling (BIM) projects. In this role, you will be responsible for executing all design stages, from concept to final product, ensuring that BIM models meet both project and industry standards. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality architectural and technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed material lists. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, a strong understanding of architectural principles, and the ability to proactively offer innovative solutions. Responsibilities:
  • An understanding of architectural and interior principles is essential to ensure that BIM models meet requirements;
  • Execute all design stages from concept to final product;
  • Complete projects by coordinating with internal and external teams;
  • Estimate the time required to complete the work;
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions;
  • Meet required timelines in deliverable items;
  • To be motivated, self-organized and focused;
  • Issue needed documentation per assigned projects;
  • Proactively offer new solutions, processes and structuring to develop and maintain planning;
  • Travel to new and existing Business locations to collect planning data;
  • Facilitate effective Revit and cloud system usage.
  • Creation and maintenance of accurate, up-to-date BIM models, ensuring they meet both project and industry standards.
  • Ensure models are organized according to the project’s deliverables and timelines.
  • Coordination of structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the design.
  • Development of detailed floor plans with dimensions and room labels.
  • Preparation of detailed, technical drawings that guide the construction process, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
  • Preparation detailed list of materials, components, and services required for the project, often used for cost estimation.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • The specialist should have a deep understanding of these tools to create, edit, and manage BIM content, cloud 360 usage knowledge;
  • Ability to create high-quality BIM content, including families, templates, and libraries, adhering to best practices and standards. This includes 2D and 3D models, parametric families, and metadata;
  • Fluent English;
  • Other CAD software and data analytics usage knowledge considered as advantage.
