Role Description:
As a Surveillance Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and integrity of company operations, particularly in an online gaming environment. Your responsibilities will involve operating advanced security systems and software to monitor activity and detect suspicious behaviors. You will help maintain the protection of company assets, staff, and customers by conducting surveillance of both physical and digital environments.
Responsibilities:
- Security Device Operation and Monitoring: Operate, monitor, and manage security systems and devices, ensuring constant surveillance of physical and digital environments to protect company assets.
- Video Monitor Console Proficiency and Camera Knowledge: Develop and maintain expertise in the use of video monitoring consoles, ensuring thorough knowledge of camera placements and functionality for maximum coverage.
- Premises Inspection and Incident Reporting: Conduct regular physical inspections of the premises, promptly reporting any violations, incidents, or security breaches.
- Routine Surveillance Checks and Incident Analysis: Perform routine reviews of CCTV footage, attend team briefings, and assess suspicious, unusual, or illegal activity, escalating any identified issues as required.
- Software Operation and Information Gathering: Utilize multiple software platforms—including gaming, surveillance, video streaming, and communication tools—to gather and analyze data for safeguarding company interests.
- Compliance Monitoring and Activity Supervision: Ensure that all online gaming activities adhere to state laws and regulations by closely monitoring staff and players, identifying any cheating or illegal actions.
- Transaction and Interaction Monitoring: Maintain a secure environment by reviewing online gaming business operations (BO), assessing transactions and interactions for potential risks to staff or customers.
Requirements:
- Surveillance or QA/QC Experience: Demonstrated experience in a surveillance or quality assurance/control role, with a focus on monitoring, reporting, and resolving security issues.
- Flexible Shift Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours—including 8-hour shifts and weekends—to meet the 24/7 demands of the business.
- Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and familiarity with various security and surveillance tools.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Romanian.
Nice to have:
- Gaming Industry Knowledge: Experience in online or land-based gaming is a plus, providing a foundation for effective monitoring of gaming-related activities.
- Proficiency in Additional Languages: Written and verbal communication skills in additional language would be a plus considering our global system.
