What will you be doing?   
  • Support to Tax leadership in managing all tax affairs of the group – this will be a mixed tax compliance and advisory role
  • Ensure timely filing of relevant tax returns coordinated with outsourced compliance providers
  • Maintain the group’s transfer pricing arrangements, ensuring tax return positions are supported by analysis and documentation where required
  • Ensure implementation of agreed tax management strategies for the group
  • Partner effectively with other internal teams including Legal, Finance, Accounting, Treasury and others to deliver projects in line with strategic objectives
  • Build and manage relationships with external advisors
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislative developments of relevance to the group and ensure effective communication and analysis of new legislation
  • Proactively seek out and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Obtain a deep understanding of the group’s activities and relevant operational models
   Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant corporate tax experience in a professional services or law firm, or in a multinational environment
  • Relevant accountancy or tax qualifications for the jurisdiction where the candidates has worked or studied
  • Clear ability to translate technical and complex tax issues into succinct and accurate summaries for a non-tax specialist audience
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and technical skills
  • Experience of both tax advisory and tax compliance matters
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
