Role description:
The Uniforms Manager oversees the end-to-end operational management of uniforms, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all company locations. This position involves coordinating the Uniforms Team in Romania and working closely with Appearance Managers/Leads in all hubs, as well as the Procurement, Product, and Project Management teams to align strategies, manage inventory, and execute rollouts. With a strong focus on budgeting, reporting, and operational excellence, the role ensures that the Company’s roadmap is supported accordingly by Uniforms operations, optimizing costs and maintaining employee satisfaction globally.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Uniforms Team in Romania, Appearance Managers across ALL studios, aligning uniform strategies and owning new locations set-up.
- Review and calibrate purchase orders, working closely with procurement on supplier relationships, and leading initiatives to switch suppliers for cost savings.
- Plan and execute uniform rollouts for new designs, products, and locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery alongside prompt and precise communication with cross-departmental teams.
- Develop, manage, and report on the global uniforms budget, ensuring cost efficiency and providing regular updates on spend, consumption, cost savings, and financial performance to senior leadership.
- Oversee inventory management systems, ensuring stock availability and efficient distribution across hubs while minimizing unnecessary spendings and overstocking.
- Create detailed reports on uniform-related costs, inventory, supplier performance, rollout metrics, and compliance with policies.
- Develop and enforce uniform policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
Implement quality control processes, collect feedback, and address uniform-related challenges in collaboration with Appearance Management, Uniforms Designers. - Ensure optimal internal customer satisfaction for Uniforms Teams across locations.
Use data analytics to forecast uniform needs and optimize procurement and distribution processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with inventory management and/or procurement – minimum 3 years.
- Experience with clothing articles, either in retail, production or design.
- Understanding of clothing patterns, fabric types, clothing upkeep.
- Advanced English (written + spoken) and Romanian skills.
- Able to read data, analyze reports, use pivot tables and formulas to extract statistics.
- Proven organizational and project management skills – able to handle constantly shifting priorities and find creative solutions.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally across teams and regions, able to independently obtain information and identify contact points.
