We are looking for an experienced Senior Compliance Manager with a strong background in Sportsbook compliance who is also eager to work across a broad range of compliance areas, including regulatory compliance to product compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Sportsbook Compliance:
• Conduct regulatory assessments for potential new markets, providing strategic guidance on licensing applications, market viability, operational and technical requirements.
• Coordinate new market entry initiatives by working closely with internal sportsbook teams to facilitate entry into new markets.
• Ensure that the company’s sports betting operations comply with all applicable gambling regulations and licensing conditions in new markets.
• Work alongside the product and technical compliance teams to ensure sportsbook features, platform developments, and new product launches align with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that the company’s sports betting operations comply with all applicable gambling regulations, licensing conditions, and responsible gaming requirements across multiple jurisdictions in existing markets.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes in the sportsbook space, providing strategic guidance on market entry, licensing applications, and operational adjustments.
• Act as key liaison with regulatory authorities and licensing bodies, responding to audits, compliance assessments, and information requests related to sportsbook operations.
• Develop and maintain a robust knowledge base with Sportsbetting requirements as well as to communicate these clearly back to internal stakeholders.
Wider Compliance Responsibilities, as is needed:
• Regulatory Compliance: Contribute to the company’s broader regulatory compliance strategy, ensuring adherence to licensing conditions, responsible gambling obligations, and jurisdictional requirements across all gaming verticals.
• Marketing Compliance: Oversee compliance with gambling advertising and marketing regulations, ensuring all promotional materials, affiliate activities, and customer communications comply with jurisdictional requirements. Provide guidance on responsible marketing practices, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, including restrictions on targeting vulnerable audiences, bonus promotions, and social media advertising.
• Licensing & Market Expansion: Support licensing applications, renewals, and regulatory submissions for both existing and new markets, working closely with relevant regulatory bodies to ensure a smooth approval process.
• Regulatory Monitoring & Guidance: Continuously monitor and interpret regulatory developments across key markets, proactively advising internal teams on necessary operational or strategic adjustments.
• Product & Technical Compliance: Work closely with product and technical compliance teams to ensure new game releases go smoothly.
• Stakeholder Communication & Training: Maintain the Compliance Department’s Knowledge Base and clearly communicate regulatory expectations and changes to internal stakeholders, providing training and support where necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in compliance roles within the online gaming industry, with a strong focus on sportsbook compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of sports betting regulations and licensing requirements across key regulated markets.
• Experience in wider regulatory compliance areas, including product and technical compliance, gambling advertising restrictions.
• Proven experience in managing regulatory audits, licensing applications, and compliance risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with regulators, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to business operations.
