The role:
Are you passionate about designing learning experiences that inspire and engage? As an L&D Specialist, you will transform complex ideas into creative, impactful learning materials. Collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders, you’ll craft visually stunning learning decks, e-learning modules, and other resources that drive development and performance. Your flair for design, storytelling, and technology will shape the future of our learning programs and empower our teams to succeed.
- Contribute to LMS Design & Management: Design LMS elements, such as dashboards, pathways, and course structures, to enhance user experience. Manage and optimize learning content within the LMS.
- Implement Learning Strategies: Support the rollout of learning initiatives aligned with the organization’s development goals. Provide innovative ideas to drive employee engagement and skill-building.
- Design & Develop Learning Materials: Create e-learning modules, presentations, and instructor-led training content using instructional design principles. Incorporate multimedia elements, interactivity, and user-centric designs to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with subject matter experts to gather insights and align learning objectives with organizational goals. Adapt content based on feedback to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Create Professional Learning Decks: Design visually compelling and on-brand slide decks tailored to specific learning objectives. Ensure content clarity, visual appeal, and learner engagement.
- Leverage Learning Technologies: Use tools like Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva to create impactful learning content. Manage and optimize content within the LMS.
- Support HR Initiatives: Develop onboarding paths that enhance new hire integration and engagement.
- Ensure Quality & Consistency: Review and refine materials to meet high standards of accuracy, design, and instructional integrity. Incorporate learner feedback and performance data to continuously improve content.
- Drive Projects to Completion: Balance multiple priorities while delivering high-quality materials on time. Maintain clear documentation of instructional strategies and deliverables.
- Instructional Design Expertise. Proficiency in applying instructional design models and adult learning principles.
- Content Creation & Development. Skilled in creating engaging, interactive e-learning modules and instructor-led training materials.
- Graphic Design Background. Strong foundation in graphic design principles, including typography, layout, and colour theory. Proficient in design tools.
- Design & Visual Communication. Ability to create visually compelling learning decks, infographics, and multimedia content. Experience in designing user-friendly interfaces and assets for learning technologies.
- LMS Management (Nice to Have). Experience with LMS administration, including course uploads, content organization, and user support.
- Learning Strategy Implementation. Ability to support and execute organizational learning strategies to achieve development goals.
- Project & Time Management. Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Collaboration & Communication. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with subject matter experts and stakeholders. Clear and concise written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Attention to Detail. Meticulous in reviewing materials for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with objectives.
