THE ROLE
The Director Of Brand Protection at Arrise, an iGaming company, plays a crucial role in safeguarding our brand’s integrity and reputation globally. As the Director, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of investigators and lawyers, working closely with external counsel to enhance our IP infringement and counterfeit strategy within the iGaming industry. 
 
This position is tailored for a senior-level professional with extensive experience in international litigation and the iGaming industry, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and a commercial, proactive approach to decision-making. You will be responsible for prioritizing and managing a high-profile caseload of international targets, strategically pursuing infringers, and reporting to senior management. 
 
Your role includes refining current strategies to improve the team’s effectiveness in achieving business goals related to IP protection specific to the iGaming sector. You will be a strategic thinker who can navigate complex legal landscapes to protect Arrise’s interests.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand protection strategies tailored to the iGaming industry, including IP infringement and counterfeit strategies, drawing on extensive international litigation experience.
  • Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team, including experienced investigators and lawyers, to enhance the company’s IP protection efforts in the iGaming sector.
  • Collaborate with external counsel to strengthen brand enforcement actions and mitigate risks related to complex international brand infringement and counterfeit activities specific to iGaming.
  • Work with legal teams to proactively enforce intellectual property rights through international litigation within the iGaming context, leveraging senior-level expertise.
  • Strategically identify, prioritize, and manage a caseload of international targets to effectively pursue infringers in the iGaming industry, utilizing extensive experience in the field.
  • Collaborate with senior marketing and product development teams to promote and maintain brand integrity in the competitive iGaming market.
  • Regularly report to senior management on brand protection initiatives and provide strategic insights focused on the iGaming landscape, grounded in extensive industry experience.
  • Educate internal teams on advanced brand protection principles and processes specific to iGaming to enhance current strategies.
  • Monitor the iGaming market and online spaces for sophisticated brand misuse or threats and take decisive action using senior-level judgment.
  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders and executive leadership, reflecting extensive experience and understanding of the iGaming industry.
 
KEY SKILLS
  • Qualified lawyer with an active license or warrant to practice law in the EU or Gibraltar.
  • Extensive senior-level experience in brand protection and intellectual property management, specifically in the international litigation and iGaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property law and enforcement processes applicable to iGaming.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a commercial and proactive approach.
  • Proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team, including investigators and lawyers, and collaborate effectively with external counsel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to strategically pursue infringers.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a caseload of international targets and report to senior management.
  • Significant experience in improving strategies to enhance team effectiveness in achieving IP protection goals within the iGaming industry.
