The Role:
As a Compliance Monitoring Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing Compliance Monitoring activities within the business. You will be responsible for overseeing compliance monitoring specifically in relation to remote gambling regulations across multiple jurisdictions. This includes monitoring processes and procedures designed to meet all compliance requirements across multiple business areas such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Safer Gambling. You will be responsible for conducting compliance monitoring activities based on a designed plan of action, maintaining and updating records, producing monthly and quarterly reporting based on the monitoring activity and liaising with other stakeholders across the business to communicate areas of non-compliance or identified improvement. Report generation will include gathering management comment and 
identifying practical solutions for remedial action.
 
The role will involve working closely with the compliance team, external counsel, as well as business and commercial teams across the company to ensure processes and procedures are followed, policy documents are updated, and accurate records are maintained. You will be expected to have a detailed knowledge of the compliance and regulatory landscape and have the capability to identify areas of non-compliance and report accordingly.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Head of Compliance and Compliance Executives to support the Compliance Monitoring function
  • Conduct relevant activities in relation to the Compliance Monitoring plan
  • Maintain accurate records of reviews conducted and deliver results and analysis to the Head of Compliance
  • Highlight instances of non-compliance as part of the monitoring process and record actions and decisions taken
  • Keep track of due dates, actions and required timelines to ensure timely completion of requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
  • An independent, motivated, self-starter
  • Strong knowledge of the compliance and regulatory environment in relation to remote gambling including AML, Safer Gambling, Advertising and Marketing 
  • At least two years of compliance and regulatory experience in a fast-paced environment 
  • Knowledge of Internal Audit and Risk Management methodology desirable 
  • Compliance qualification and equivalent related work experience 
  • Demonstrated experience in prior roles within a regulated industry 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to deliver messages clearly and confidently at all levels
  • A team player who shows respect and values the views of others
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach, always willing to support various areas of team workload and prioritize accordingly
